An emphasis on some of the best moments of the new issue, a hidden Argenta gem, poolside daydreams and more.
The Secret Garden
“We’ve been waiting for the right moment to shoot at the Owens building where the Hardin & Grace Law Firm resides,” stylist and editorial contributor Josie Burnett says. “It’s a little hidden oasis in the heart of Argenta. A huge apple tree sits in the middle of the courtyard, and around it is a small garden and beehives. Maggie, the resident cat, even paid us a sweet visit.”
Pup-arazzi Patrol
As always, we spent the month of June deeply invested in our 11th annual Cutest Dog Contest. Head to our website to follow the fun, and watch for the winner’s editorial debut in the September issue.
Standout Quote
“A fire in the outdoor fireplace, a great bottle of wine and soothing tunes playing throughout the house would round out an ideal day at 7 Tiburon Lane.”
– Chris Marsh, broker, owner & CEO of Capital Sotheby’s International Realty
Grounds for Hope
This month’s cover story on a new housing initiative for those facing chronic homelessness involved a visit to the southwest LR construction site.
“It was so cool to see Providence Park at this stage,” art director Emma Devine says. “Errin was pointing out to us where buildings will soon emerge and describing how residents would use the spaces and services. You could really feel the good energy and vision coming to life.”
Poolside State of Mind
If you need us, we’ll be daydreaming about this WLR oasis at 26 Spring Valley Lane from our annual Most Beautiful Homes feature.
