Surrounded: The View From 7 Tiburon Lane

An hour from downtown Little Rock, Lake Balboa draws visitors to its shores year round, particularly to soak up the summer sun. But for one Hot Springs Village home, the lake is more than sightseeing or recreation, it’s a neighbor.

The residence at 7 Tiburon Lane sits on an island-like, 3.22-acre peninsula in the middle of Lake Balboa. At 4,422 square feet, the home has three bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms and the unmistakable feeling of being in harmony with nature.

The home recently found new owners, so Soirée caught up with Chris Marsh, broker, owner and CEO of Capital Sotheby’s International Realty, to get an insider’s look at the one-of-a-kind retreat.

The first thing that catches everyone’s attention is the setting. What can you tell us about this unique location?

CM: One of the most extraordinary features of the home is that it was perfectly positioned on the island so that every room has a view of Lake Balboa. The soft neutral color pallet was a mindful decision to allow for the natural elements and changes in seasons to reflect throughout the space.

With panoramic views of the lake, which do you find most impressive?

CM: The view from the dining room almost makes it feel as if you are floating on the water while having dinner. The way the elevation of the home was considered throughout the design of this property is punctuated in this room. Further, the outdoor entertaining areas that flow from the dining room makes this home an entertainer’s dream.

This house is clearly designed for outdoor enjoyment, but the inside is fabulous as well. What would you say is the interior shining star?

CM: The primary bedroom is the pinnacle of luxury. With dual owner’s bathrooms and a spa room to relax and indulge in various treatments, this owner’s suite is a retreat within this lakeside sanctuary.

Daydream with us for a bit. If you’re spending 24 hours at this home, morning to night, what’s your ideal agenda?

CM: The ideal day at this waterfront refuge would include enjoying a perfect cup of coffee from the Miele coffeemaker on the exceptional covered patio area. Watching the lake wake up would set the tone for a beautiful day. Midmorning would be a fantastic time to take a stroll around the beautiful trails of Hot Springs Village while contemplating your next round of golf. Back home, one couldn’t miss the opportunity to pack a picnic to be enjoyed on an afternoon boating excursion. Ending the day with a fire in the outdoor fireplace, a great bottle of wine and soothing tunes playing throughout the house would round out an ideal day at 7 Tiburon Lane.

It is our goal to perfectly position a property with beautiful and intriguing photography and videography to capture the attention of various buyer categories across the globe. This property allowed us to highlight the lifestyle available to the buyer with the turn of a latch.
