The trick-or-treating fun gets started a little early this year thanks to the return of the Big Boo!seum Bash on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Back for its 30th year of spook-tacular fun, the bash invites kiddos to get in on tons of free candy, games and activities at some of your favorite local museums — all in costume, of course.
To make the trip a little easier, some sites will have multiple participants on their grounds, so expect even more fun.
This year’s participants include:
- Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts
- Firehouse Museum & Hostel
- Historic Arkansas Museum
- MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History
- Mosaic Templars Cultural Center (also on site: Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site)
- Museum of Discovery
- Old State House Museum
- Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center
And while you’re out haunting, be sure to pick up a Big Boo!seum game card to stamp at each location. Completed cards will be entered into a drawing for a prize. As always, keep an eye out for giveaways and contests, because you might just go home with a few more treats from the museums.
