Men on a Mission 2026: Marcus Guinn

Marcus Guinn
Central Arkansas Loan Manager, Arvest Bank

HOW I KNEW THIS WAS MY PASSION
After serving three years in the Army, I accepted a bank supply clerk job for college schedule flexibility. I quickly discovered a passion for banking, thriving on delivering exceptional service and helping customers succeed.

MY FIRST JOB AND WHAT IT TAUGHT ME
Working at a junior high school during a temporary summer program. This job taught me patience, humility, timeliness and the importance of attention to detail.

BEST ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED
The best advice came from my dad. He always stressed the value of hard work, honesty and a college education.

HOW I UNPLUG AFTER A LONG DAY AT WORK
Reading The Wall Street Journal or any other publication.

BEST CAREER MOMENT SO FAR
Joining Arvest Bank. Arvest is a privately held bank that genuinely cares about customers, associates and shareholders. The culture/work environment is unmatched, and the customer is at the center of every decision and action.
