Men on a Mission 2026: Nathan Chennault

Nathan Chennault
CEO, Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services

ONE THING I WISH PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT MY COMPANY
We serve children from all parts of Arkansas. Our goal is not just to get them through a tough time, but for them to learn to dream, build a future they shape themselves and discover what’s truly possible.

HOW I UNPLUG AFTER A LONG DAY AT WORK
I head home to our farm, hop on the tractor and make the rounds feeding and watering our animals. Getting everyone settled for the night helps me settle down, too.

BEST ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED
My friend James Corbitt once told me, “Be consistent.” That matters when running an organization, but even more in caring for young people. Trust grows when people see you show up for them day after day.

BEST CAREER MOMENT SO FAR
Every time I see one of our young people’s eyes beaming with confidence and pride when they graduate, earn their first paycheck or realize they can do something they once thought they could never accomplish.

NONPROFIT I WISH MORE PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT
Vera Lloyd, of course! For more than 100 years, we’ve helped Arkansas children and families heal and reconnect, while also giving our young people the support and skills to build independent lives.
