Every day, vulnerable Arkansas youth and families work toward long-term stability.

The mission of Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services (VLPFS) is to heal, prepare and empower children, youth and families. VLPFS offers emergency shelter and therapeutic residential care for children in the foster care and juvenile justice systems. This year, a Supervised Independent Living Program for young adults ages 18 to 24 will launch to provide extended services and stability. In addition, Vera Lloyd’s Resource Parent Training Program teaches foster and adoptive parents how to connect with and empower their children.

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES:

• Online donations are always accepted at veralloyd.org.

• Special events occur each year in southeast Arkansas (Turkey Trot 10K and 5K), central Arkansas (Happiest Hour) and northwest Arkansas (Garden Party).

• Giving a monthly gift can make an incredible impact. Just $10 a month can help create stable, brighter futures for Arkansas’ most vulnerable children, youth and families.
