We’ve got some bittersweet news for Little Rock food lovers. Flora Jean’s, the vegetarian, health-focused restaurant in downtown Little Rock, has announced it will close at the end of March.
The restaurant shared the news on social media, writing, “Now it’s time for our next adventure. For this is not an end, but an evolution.” While details surrounding the closure have not been shared, the announcement came as a surprise to many downtown regulars and plant-forward diners.
Known for its cozy atmosphere and thoughtful approach to food, Flora Jean’s quickly became a favorite gathering spot. Before the doors close, the restaurant will host one final Supper Series in March. Tickets are $125 and include a wine pairing and a final opportunity to experience the space that so many have come to love.
Flora Jeans opened in early 2023 and offered exclusive dinners, nutrient-dense drinks and imaginative dishes crafted with local, organic and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant was the second venture for sisters Helen Grace, Leila King and Kamiya King, who also operate At the Corner.
The sisters have also confirmed that Plain Jane, the French-Southern fusion cafe they had planned for the former Cañon Grill location in Hillcrest, is no longer happening.
