The mission of Arkansas Hospice is to enhance the quality of life for those facing serious illness and loss by surrounding them with love and embracing them with the best in physical, emotional and spiritual care.
From its humble beginnings in 1992, Arkansas Hospice has — through hard work, care and compassion — built a strong, trusted reputation throughout Arkansas, and is now our state’s largest hospice. Hospice care helps families make the most of their time together.
Family members are encouraged and trained by a team of hospice professionals to care for their loved ones with a focus on dignity, grace, and support.
Giving Opportunities
• Your donation, no matter the amount, helps provide innovative services, such as our We Honor Veterans program. This program helps meet the unique needs of veteran patients and properly recognize them for their service; plus, veterans and family members receive assistance with obtaining VA benefits.
• Another way is to give your time. Volunteers can help with direct patient support, office work, and fundraising events – or with their pups in the volunteer therapy dog program.
Fundraisers and Events
You’ve never been to an event in Little Rock quite like A Fair to Remember. Held every other year, it is an action-packed event inspired by an old-fashioned county fair complete with fair games and prizes, live music and dancing, food and libations, auctions, and, of course, our special guests — our Arkansas Hospice therapy dogs.
We also host a family-friendly, fair-themed event, Saturday’s Fair, held each spring in Russellville.
