Annette Dove
Executive Director, Targeting Our People’s Priorities With Service
About me: I’m a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where my upbringing instilled in me a strong desire to serve others. My family and faith were the two pillars that shaped my values and principles. Growing up, my parents, both community leaders, led by example and taught us the importance of giving back to society. It was their influence that sparked my love for working with young people. After spending time as an educator, I now work in the nonprofit sector, which brings me immense joy. Seeing the youth I’ve served grow up to become servants makes it even more fulfilling. It brings me great joy to work alongside my children, knowing that our efforts are making a difference in the lives of others.

Proudest Moment of Impact: When 100 very accomplished past students surprised me at our anniversary ceremony.
Call to Action: I wish our communities understood how limited the resources are for our most vulnerable populations.
What Keeps Me Motivated: The most motivating thing is to offer opportunities and unlock doors for young individuals who might not have had access to them otherwise.
