Soirée Squad

Team Soirée would like to give a special shoutout to two amazing women who kept us going this summer: editorial intern Emilia Martinez and photography intern Madeline Circle. You’ve already seen their work on our pages, website and social media, and you’ll see plenty more in the weeks to come.

Red-y, Set, Style

One of the first steps in the photo shoot process? Chatting with our subjects about their personal style and fave local shops.

“Jenn likes a pop of red, so we went with a bright red dress and matching heels to make her stand out in front of the all-white set. Red is also the color for ASPSF, so it worked perfectly,” stylist and editorial contributor Josie Burnett says.

Fold Feelings

“The Fold has a special place in my heart, and their steak burrito has a special place in my belly,” art director Emma Devine says. “We were spoiled for choice in this space — every nook was another great option to set up a shot, and Deanna’s bubbly and fun personality matched the vibe perfectly.”

And although they didn’t make the final cut, we couldn’t help but be envious of a particular pair of sneakers she brought to set that match the iconic colors of The Fold.
