It’s about to get creepy in here, y’all.
Ron Robinson Theater, the 315-seat venue that’s part of the Central Arkansas Library System’s Library Square campus in the River Market, wants to scare you this summer with its annual Terror Tuesday series. Having kicked off last week with “Psycho,” theatergoers can catch a slew of classic sci-fi and horror flicks on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. this season.
Here’s what’s on the lineup so far:
- June 2: Double feature – “Dracula” (1931) and “Frankenstein” (1931)
- June 9: “Poltergeist” (1982)
- June 16: “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” (1956)
- June 30: “An American Werewolf in London” (1981)
Terror Tuesdays are only a portion of the theater’s year-round movie calendar, which includes upcoming classics like “The Wizard of Oz” and “Field of Dreams,” as well as the popular Exhibition on Screen films exploring iconic artists. There’s also the family-friendly Summer@CALS movie lineup that kicks off on June 13 with “The Land Before Time.”
