Women’s Foundation of Arkansas and Esse Purse Museum Team Up for New Series

The Women’s Foundation of Arkansas is dedicated to helping local women and girls achieve their full potential — something we can all get behind. So when they decided to team up with the Esse Purse Museum on a new project, it could only mean good things.

Stories of Empowerment is a brand new speaker and networking series that will be held quarterly at the museum in SoMa. The goal is to “further [the organizations’] missions of honoring women’s past and supporting and strengthening the future of women and girls in Arkansas.”

Each event will center around a different ides, and it kicks off with the theme of “Our Generations, Our Progress.” Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks, a scavenger hunt throughout the museum and hearing from UALR Professor of History Johanna Miller Lewis.

The inaugural event is open to women of all ages and will take place at 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 9. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here.
