You can tell it’s that time of year when the world around you slowly starts to become monochromatic. Green is everywhere from the shop window displays to the beer you drink. Yes, St. Patrick’s Day is upon us.
But there’s more than pubs on our radar. We rounded up some of the shamrockin’ events going on in the metro over the next few days.
March 13
The Muses’ “Celtic Spring” at Westover Hills Presbyterian Church // The Muses Creative Artistry Project has put together a concert featuring the sounds of Irish harps, flutes and talented voices. Spend your evening soaking in the traditional and contemporary ballads, folk songs and dance. Showtime is 7 p.m. Learn more here.

Lucky 13th Birthday at CALS Children’s Library // This beloved library branch is leaning into the theme for its birthday celebrations this weekend. 25th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade // Hosted by the Irish Cultural Society of Arkansas, this parade is tons of fun every year. A slew of bagpipers, floats, music and more will start at at Sixth and Main in Argenta and snake across the river to end at Dugan’s Pub. Go time is 1 p.m. Learn more here.
St. Patrick’s Day Block Party on Third // After the parade, stick around Dugan’s for more outdoor merriment. Expect live music, vendors and traditional Irish dance performances by the McCafferty School of Irish Dance and the O’Donovan School of Irish Dance. The fun runs until 10 p.m. Learn more here.
St. Patrick’s Parade After Party at Lost Forty // If you’re ready to take a load off after the parade (or maybe you skipped it but still want the festivities), head to this East Village brewery for themed cocktails and beer, shepherd’s pie and even some Lucky Charms. Lucky’s St Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl // If you’re not ready to stop the party just yet, grab your crew and join this pub tour through downtown Little Rock. The crawl features stops at Bark Bar, Fassler Hall, Dust Bowl, Cache, Sterling Market and Stone’s Throw. It starts at 4 p.m. Learn more here.

St. Patrick’s Day Bash at Rusty Tractor Vineyards // Pubs not your scene? Call it the luck of the Irish. Head to the vineyard’s Sunset Lodge for an afternoon of drink specials, live music, games and food. And yes, festive attire is absolutely encouraged. Chuggin’ & Buggin’ at The Rail Yard // This is what happens when St. Pat’s meets crawfish season. Get your fill of crawfish and all the fixin’s to go with a themed bar menu packed with Paddy’s specials. The party lasts from noon to 6 p.m. Learn more here.
Irish Cousins St. Patrick’s Day Dinner at Brood & Barley // This Argenta restaurant is going all in on the flavors of Ireland. The menu is “a spirited spin on classic Irish comfort food” and every course is paired with a different Jameson whiskey or Irish beer. It starts at 5 p.m. Learn more here.

“The Boondock Saints” at Ron Robinson Theater // Much like Connor and Murphy, the CALS classic movie lineups don’t miss. Catch the cult-favorite flick following two Irish-American brothers dealing out vigilante justice at 7 p.m. Learn more here.
World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Hot Springs // Up for a drive? Capping off a full list of festivities including a Blarney Stone Kissing Contest, the parade (which lives up to its name, by the way) will make it’s way down Bridge St. with plenty of sights to make up for it’s brevity. The parade’s special guests include Carmen Electra, Matt Iseman, the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and even the Savannah Bananas’ dancing umpire.
