I am a partner at Arkansas Women’s Center practicing obstetrics and gynecology. After residency at UAMS, I worked in Texas a few years in private practice and as an OB/GYN hospitalist. When the opportunity to move back arose, the pieces fell perfectly into place to join AWC; and I absolutely love my job here serving the women of central Arkansas!

PRESSING QUESTIONS
Biggest challenges in my career
Staying up-to-date with new research. Health care is always changing and being a doctor is agreeing to be a lifelong student. Fortunately, I’m a bit of a nerd and love to learn.
The first thing I do to course-correct when I hit a wall
Make lists to organize my thoughts; then I can start marking items off the to-dos.
A skill I never expected to need in this field
Unofficial NASCAR driver. It is useful for those middle of night deliveries when some babies are quite impatient!
The one thing I wish people knew about my field
The breadth of it. Adolescent care, wellness/preventative visits, infertility evaluations, pregnancy/postpartum, mental health management, menopause...and all the surgeries in between. I can help with it all.
