If you’re looking for a tame evening, stay on your couch with your streaming service. If you’re looking for something a little more wild, look to the Little Rock Zoo for its annual Wild Wines fundraiser.
The party takes place over the course of two nights. On Friday, April 25, is the Wild Wines VIP Night where guests will enjoy eats from some of the city’s best restaurants paired with hand-selected wines from O’Looney’s Wine & Liquor. The kickoff event takes place from 7-9 p.m. and includes live music to set the soundtrack as you visit with the zoo’s animal ambassadors. VIP tickets also include admission to the following night’s event.
Saturday, April 26, is the Wild Wines Mane Event from 7-10 p.m. More than 200 wines and food from dozens of area eateries await attendees at this fan favorite event, plus visits from some of the zoo’s inhabitants, a silent auction and live music as you explore the zoo.
Proceeds from both events benefit the Arkansas Zoological Foundation, a nonprofit that helps support the zoo by funding conservation education programs, animal habitat improvements and updates across the grounds.
