Nature in Print Opening Reception at Wildwood Park for the Arts, Little Rock: As part of Wildwood’s Art in the Park series, the Nature in Print: Arkansas Printmakers Exploring the Natural World exhibit features the work of Arkansan artists Miranda Young, Daniella Napolitano and Sarah Burns. New Brew Friday at Stone’s Throw Brewing, Little Rock: Let’s boil this one down for you. Stone’s Throw has four new beers hitting its menu. Returning for spring are Aurora Borealis Scottish Light, Cover Crop Rye IPA and Amarillo Warrior Imperial IPA. Making its world debut is the Single-hopped Centennial Pale Ale. UCP’s Putt Putt Pub Crawl in the River Market, Little Rock: Mini golf and/or beer drinking fans, this is your time. You and your 21-and-older friends are invited to split into four-person teams and make your way from pub to pub, putting the whole way there. Participating bars are Dugan’s Pub, Skye Bistro/Stratton’s Market, Stickyz Rock ‘N’ Roll Chicken Shack, Damgoode Pies, Willy D’s, Gusano’s, Big Whiskey’s, Revolution Taco & Tequila Lounge (Rev Room) and Flying Saucer. Your entrance fee gets you lots of swag, and all proceeds go to United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas programs and services. Health & Fitness Expo at the Statehouse Convention Center, Little Rock: Whether you need to stock up on a few things before race day or you’re just addicted to fitness gear, the Little Rock Marathon Health & Fitness Expo showcases more than 70 booths of the latest and greatest items. Little Rock Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K and 10K: This is it, folks. If you were putting off your last few miles by reading this list, your luck’s run out. Now spanning two days, the kids’ marathon, 5K and 10K take place Saturday morning, with the marathon and half marathon taking off Sunday morning. (Psst! Non-runners, avoid these places at all costs.) Imagine: The Music of John Lennon” at the Robinson Center, Little Rock: Now this is a weekend setlist. As part of the Acxiom Pops Live! series, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra will team up with the Jeans ‘n’ Classics Band to bring new life to both Beatles-era music and Lennon’s solo career.
