Weekend Guide: 13 Activities for January Days

The snow is gone and the rain has moved in, but there’s still plenty of ways to enjoy the city this weekend. Let’s get into it.

Film Screenings

First things first, we’re shaking up our regular programming a bit. There are lots of special screenings this weekend, so we thought it deserved its own category. Pass the popcorn.

Thursday:

  • 7 p.m. – “Tango & Cash” as part of the CALS BingoFlix! series at Ron Robinson Theater

Friday:

  • 7 p.m. – “Fargo” at Ron Robinson Theater

Saturday:

Sunday:

  • 12:30 p.m. – “Oppenheimer” as part of the Arkansas Cinema Society’s For Your Consideration series at AMFA
  • 4 p.m. – “Barbie” as part of the Arkansas Cinema Society’s For Your Consideration series at AMFA

Editor’s note: Due to “unforeseen circumstances,” ACS has canceled both For Your Consideration screenings and rescheduled “The Zone of Interest” to Feb. 2.

S’Mores & Pours at Stone’s Throw Brewing // Leave the chestnuts at home, this fire is all about the ‘mallows.
