Most Gratifying Moment
After starting out as a line cook, completing culinary school, and surviving a near fatal car accident, I became Executive Chef at Sonny Williams. As a sous chef, when you are promoted to the Executive Chef position, it is very gratifying. It means all the hard training and work has paid off. You then get to pass your knowledge, recipes and skills on to other up-and-coming chefs who work under you.
