Lindsey Carpenter
Owner, Glo Limited, Little Rock
Glo Limited is the combination of my two passions: building relationships with people, and cosmetics/skin care. I am so blessed to have a career that I love, and that I’m passionate about. At Glo, our first priority is building relationships with the women of Arkansas. Our second priority is providing effective treatments and products through our skilled staff of estheticians and makeup artists. Glo provides a knowledgeable approach to skin care and cosmetics that you can trust.
ON POWER
People often underestimate the power of prayer and hard work. I feel most powerful when I am doing what I love. My career allows me to spend one-on-one time with our amazing customers, and I love making these women feel special on the inside, as well as the outside. It is all about making women feel their very best. There is a sense of accomplishment when you can make one’s day!
A true sign of power is the giving of yourself to the people around you.
ON MOTIVATION
My customers! I get tremendous joy from getting to know the women who share their lives with us. It’s a daily privilege.
Career goal? Continue building strong relationships with existing clients, finding innovative ways to reach new clients and building our product lines and services.
ON SUCCESS
I don’t think there will be a time in my life where I could say point-blank: I have succeeded. Success is continuing to meet your personal and professional goals by doing what you love. Thanks to my Dad’s words of wisdom, when customers ask how my business is doing, my response is usually, “There’s always more to accomplish!”
POWERFUL DAY
I had the opportunity to spend time with a woman who constantly gives of herself to her family. This sweet woman’s daughter suggested she come to Glo for a makeup consultation. The first time I met Janet, I heard her heartbreaking story about her husband’s struggle with cancer. I could tell instantly this was a woman who was doing her best to stay strong for her husband and family. It was fulfilling to focus only on her…even something as lighthearted as a makeover allowed her to escape for just a bit.
