Soirée Loves Local: Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church

Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, one of the first churches in the Hillcrest neighborhood, was started in 1912. Its congregation is one of hope and is a place of warmth and love with an outreach mission that extends far beyond the church walls. “Love God, Love Neighbor, Change the World” is the mission of PHUMC.

Even during COVID-19, the church has continued to serve its community. Its food pantry and diaper bank are open and church services are streamed on Facebook, YouTube and KATV ABC 7 on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m.

All are invited to Easter Sunday worship on April 4. The contemporary online service begins at 9 a.m., and at 10:30 a.m. the traditional service will be broadcast live on KATV or churchgoers can attend in-person outdoors at War Memorial Stadium. Masks and social distancing are required.
