Museum of Discovery has undergone a number of changes since its founding in 1927 by Bernie Babcock. Today the interactive science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) center is in the middle of some exciting improvements.
Last fall, a permanent two-story, three tower climber was unveiled to the public alongside a temporary 1,800-square-foot cardboard maze. The maze will remain through the summer and its exit will signal another change, the installation of two new galleries set to debut this fall!
For the littles in your life, be sure to visit Room to Grow. The gallery, for ages 6 and younger, is home to an imaginary play vet clinic, grocery store and campsite. Additionally, there is a toddler soft play area, small climber and building blocks.
