Owners Mandy Marshall and Justin Harris spent three years researching and developing Hounds Lounge Pet Resort & Spa before opening its first location in the Riverdale neighborhood of Little Rock in 2016.
Since then, the cage-free facility that offers overnight dog boarding, off-leash doggie day care, dog grooming and a DIY self-wash has won Best Dog Day Care/Dog Boarding and Best Pet Groomer every year running. In 2018, HL expanded to North Little Rock and Fayetteville, and the west Little Rock location opened in 2019.
HL is staffed 24/7 for its furry guests’ safety and to give pet parents the comfort that their fur kids are supervised around the clock. It also offers after-hours accommodations to allow for pickup or drop-off after the lobby closes.
The luxury pet resort, a dream realized, was named after Harris and Marshall’s furry children Hemingway and London and so health and safety – for both dogs and humans – is a priority.
HL has a strict vaccine policy and daily sanitation protocols as well as all-day supervised off-leash play.
The first day of doggie day care is free and is a temperament test to ensure each woof is a good fit for the environment.
