It’s the 8th Annual National Flip Flop Day and if you sport a pair to Tropical Smoothie Cafe from 2-7 p.m. today (June 20), you’ll receive a free smoothie!
The smoothie and sandwich chain will hand out 24-oz. Jetty Punch smoothies; in return, they ask that customers donate to their national charity partner Camp Sunshine.
The special camp is a retreat in Maine that caters to the entire families of children with life-threatening illnesses.
In 2012, Tropical Smoothie Café locations nationwide collectively gave away close to 200,000 smoothies for the cause, which equated to approximately $1 million in free smoothies.
