The Quapaw Quarter Association is bringing back its seasonal event, The Holiday Social, on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Guests will join the QQA to tour three historic houses decorated for the holidays and to enjoy the community and “rare glimpse into the past” inside each one. The featured houses on the 2023 tour are the Kavanaugh House (1854 S. Arch St.), the Turner-Mann House (1711 Center St.) and the W.C. Foster House (2200 S. Gaines St.).
“Historic homes of the Quapaw Quarter are a treat to see during the holidays, and their beautiful architecture is the perfect setting for seasonal decorations,” QQA Executive Director Patricia Blick said at the event’s debut in 2021.
Once all three houses have been visited, attendees will gather at the Capital Hotel for a seated dinner celebrating the QQA’s 55th anniversary, as well as a silent auction to help further the nonprofit’s mission of preserving greater Little Rock’s historic places.
The tours begin at 5 p.m. and dinner begins at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets to The Holiday Social can be purchased on the QQA website or by calling 501.371.0075 ext. 3. Follow the QQA on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
