North Little Rock’s newest outdoor entertainment destination is almost ready to welcome its first guests.
After months of anticipation, Putt Chip Chill will officially open its doors Friday, Aug. 28, bringing a new golf and entertainment destination to Northshore Golf Range.
The more-than-$5 million, 2-acre development expands on the longtime driving range with a family-friendly venue designed for everything from casual afternoons to date nights, birthday parties and corporate events.
At the heart of the property is a 27-green mini golf course featuring 45 hole locations, creating a different experience for beginners and seasoned players alike. Beyond the course, guests will find multiple bars, permanent food trucks, indoor and outdoor seating, a covered pavilion, private event spaces and an event lawn that will host live music and community events.
“Putt Chip Chill was designed to be a place everyone can enjoy,” says Nate Deakin, co-owner and general manager. “Whether you’re an experienced golfer, looking for a unique date night idea, meeting friends to watch a sports game or spending time outdoors with family, we wanted to create a destination that people will always want to come back to.”
The project also highlights partnerships with several local businesses, reinforcing its commitment to supporting and showcasing Arkansas-made food, beverages and services.
“This opening represents years of planning, investment and collaboration,” says James Barnes, co-owner and registered agent. “We’re excited to bring a new spot to the area that adds to central Arkansas’ growing list of attractions and continued success.”
Putt Chip Chill will be open seven days a week and is located at 5403 Northshore Cove in North Little Rock.
