Making a trip to the Little Rock Zoo is always a bright idea. With the weather cooling down and the tree colors changing, it’s the perfect time to walk the outdoor park among incredible animals, while learning something new and having fun.
This year, the zoo is bringing back one of its most popular events. From Nov. 16 through Jan. 7, the Little Rock Zoo will host its third year of GloWILD!, a lantern festival made possible by the Arkansas Zoological Foundation in partnership with Tianyu Arts & Culture.
See the zoo in a new light during this interactive experience featuring more than 40 handcrafted silk-covered lanterns shaped like animals. There will be a new mythical creatures section this year with strange birds, dragons and other spectacular animal and holiday lanterns. Guests can also enjoy a sensory-friendly night and New Years Eve Party once again this year.
Read on for a list of dates to save during this year’s GloWILD.
