MISSION
The mission of the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) Foundation is to provide a margin of excellence to CALS, bringing private philanthropy together with taxpayer support to ensure the library delivers the highest quality service to citizens.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
CALS gives all of us access to art, music, culture, movies and a wealth of knowledge. Donations to the CALS Foundation help your library continue to be a vibrant center of activity for central Arkansas, providing environments that invite reading, community discussion and lifelong learning. CALS is proud to provide resources and services to help residents reach their full potential, including programs like our Six Bridges Book Festival, our math tutoring initiative, and our new entrepreneurship center.
Every gift makes a difference:
• $25 puts a book on the shelves in honor or memory of a friend or loved one.
• $100 purchases a downloadable eBook or audiobook.
• $250 supports the Encyclopedia of Arkansas, a free online source of information about the rich history and culture of Arkansas.
• $500 supports the Summer Reading Club, a program helping to prevent the summer slide and encourage a love of reading.
