ACANSA Arts Festival of the South builds a more dynamic and engaging community through visual and performing arts programs and enriches the cultural vitality of the region. By fostering creative collaborations, ACANSA facilitates the creation and presentation of compelling art that encourages public dialogue, exposes people to a wider array of artistic experiences and makes the community a stronger, more vibrant place to live.

Arkansans and visitors annually celebrate the ACANSA Arts Festival of the South during live performances and visual arts exhibits in multiple venues throughout September. ACANSA also provides free spring break arts camps in collaboration with professional artists to hundreds of youth. The Ten-Minute Play Showcase encourages local playwrights, directors, actors and audiences to explore new plays.

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES:

Donors make ACANSA’s innovative programming possible. Donations support scholarships for young Arkansans to attend free spring break activities and performances. Additionally, funding supports world-class performances and keeps admission prices affordable, even free. Volunteering at events or as a member of ACANSA’s Board of Directors is another opportunity to support ACANSA, arts and arts education.
