One waiting child + One adoptive family = Zero kids waiting

There are more than 400,000 children and teens in foster care in the U.S. More than 100,000 of those children are waiting to be adopted, and more than 360 of them are in Arkansas.

At Project Zero, our goal is to have zero children in foster care waiting to be adopted. We partner with the Arkansas Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to meet that goal by raising awareness about the need for adoptive families, by building hope in waiting kids and by helping connect them with the right forever family.

An anonymous source once said, “There are no unwanted children, just unfound families.” Project Zero agrees and is passionate about finding them!

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES:

• Sponsors for short films that feature waiting kids and give them a voice — these are powerful in helping us connect waiting kids with forever families.

• Donations to help make this Christmas incredibly special for every waiting child by providing funds to purchase items on their wish lists.

• We also need volunteers to pour into waiting kids and birthday “buddies” to help with individual parties/gifts.
