This is one event where you don't have to dress up and you get to try delicious soups from local restaurants. We call that a win-win.

Soup Sunday, presented by Arkansas Advocates for Children & Families, will take place on Feb. 23 from 4-7 p.m. at the Statehouse Convention Center. As the event marks its 39th year, Trace Munday of Sauce(d) will serve as this year's featured chef.

In addition to enjoying dozens of tasty soups, guests will have the chance to enter to win silent and live auction items. There will also be music to keep kids (and parents) out on the dance floor.

All proceeds from the evening will benefit the AACF's work to ensure Arkansas' children have the resources and opportunities to live healthy and productive lives.

Tickets are available for purchase online. Individual adult tickets are $35, tickets for children age 5-17 are $10 and kids 5 and under get in for free. To purchase your tickets, call (501) 371-9678 or head to the website.
