This is one event where you don't have to dress up and you get to try delicious soups from local restaurants. We call that a win-win.

Soup Sunday, presented by Arkansas Advocates for Children & Families, will take place on Feb. 27 from 4-7 p.m. at The Venue at Westwind with a dozen different soups to sip, plus fun auction items. As the event marks its 41st year, Jack Sundell and Jonathan Arrington of The Root Cafe and Mockingbird Bar & Tacos will serve as this year's featured chefs.

Bringing back a new element introduced in 2021, this year's Soup Sunday will once again feature soup specials at  participating restaurants in the metro throughout the month of February. Update: This feature will no longer be in place this year.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the AACF's work to ensure Arkansas' children have the resources and opportunities to live healthy and productive lives.
