This fall, say goodbye to your venti double-shot skinny latte and hello to a fresh-pressed ginger and cayenne shot.
Fresh ginger and cayenne might sound like an odd way to start the day, but the owners of Little Rock’s newest health-focused eatery, I Love Juice Bar, assure me that “it’s awesome.”
Tommy Keet, president of JTJ Juice Bars LLC, expects to open I Love Juice Bar in the Midtowne Shopping Center mid to late September. The juice bar, located in a 1,600 square-foot space between The Children’s Place and Soma Intimates, will offer smoothies, juices,“power shots” and healthy food options like fresh spring rolls and quinoa salad.
Keet said everything on the menu is gluten free and 90 percent vegan.

Keet is a member of the same family that brought the fast-casual franchise Taziki’s Mediterranean Café to Arkansas. Keet tell us their goal is to make the Keet name “synonymous with healthy eating in Arkansas.”
I Love Juice Bar is a franchise founded in 2013 by husband-and-wife team Vui and John Hunt in Nashville. In less than two years, the franchise has grown to more than a two dozen locations nationwide.
Keet tells us he and his partners plan to open more I Love Juice Bar locations and hope to continue bringing healthy food and lifestyle concepts to the state.
