Your quest for the perfect piece for your bare wall is officially over.
The Arkansas Arts Center’s 50th annual Collectors Show and Sale is back to help you fill the void. The local favorite and long running exhibition returns to once again transform the Little Rock gallery into a scene from The Big Apple.
Members of the AAC Collectors Group set out to New York in September to curate the exhibition, drawing from galleries such as Debra Force Fine Art, George Adams Gallery, McKenzie Fine Art, Godel & Co., Meredith Ward Fine Art, Berry Campbell Gallery and Kraushaar Galleries.
“We are thrilled to welcome the 50th Collectors Show and Sale to the Arkansas Arts Center,” said Brian Lang, Chief Curator and Windgate Foundation Curator of Contemporary Craft. “This year we are excited to present a diverse selection of works in the exhibition – ranging from Old Master drawings to provocative contemporary works – that will enable veteran collectors to add to their collections while perhaps inspiring others to begin collecting.”
Pieces vary in style and media, and are all for sale with prices ranging from below $750 up to $115,000 for that very, very special wall.
You can see the show beginning Friday, Nov. 16 and lasting through Sunday, Jan. 6. There’s also an exclusive Collectors Show Brunch for AAC members on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 9 a.m.
The AAC is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday. To learn more about the Collectors Show and Sale, click here.
