“Graduated from the Culinary School of Apprenticeship in 2001 while training as a line cook here at Sonny Williams. I trained under Executive Chefs Jason Morrel and Chris Wirges and took over as executive chef in 2002.”

Signature dish – At Sonny’s, it’s the cioppino. For me, it’s the chorizo and fried egg sandwich.

Biggest cooking challenge – Finding the freshest ingredients possible for a recipe.

These days, I’m crazy about – Diner food and just straight, home-style food! And barbeque!

Where I eat on my night off – My wife and I spend a lot of time at Maddie’s Place for dinner. The food and atmosphere are excellent.

Chef recommends – You buy a smoker.
