A longtime favorite among locals, this is one event where you can keep it casual with the whole family while you try delicious soups from area restaurants. We call that a win-win.
Soup Sunday, hosted by Arkansas Advocates for Children & Families, will take place on March 1 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at UA Little Rock’s Jack Stephens Center, a new location for the event and its biggest yet. The flavorful fete will feature a variety of soups to sip from the kitchens of Ciao Baci, Brave New Restaurant, Allsopp & Chapple, Ease Supper Club, Table 28 and so many more, plus music and fun auction items.
As the beloved fundraiser marks its 45th year, Jill McDonald and Wendy Schay of The Croissanterie are the event’s featured chefs, while Kelly, Matt, Allie and Claire Steliga will serve as chairs, the event’s first-ever chair family.
As always, guests are invited to bring their own muffin tins to help corral their soup samples, but it’s not a requirement for entry.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the AACF’s work to “ensure that all children and their families have the resources and opportunities to lead healthy and productive lives and to realize their full potential.” The 2025 event brought in more than $216,000 for the mission.
Tickets are now available for purchase. To purchase yours, head to the AACF website. For updates, follow along on Facebook, X and Instagram.
