Made by Few Conference Returns for 6th Year

The 6th Made by Few conference, organized by Arkansas-based design and development agency Few, will be held Oct. 25-Oct. 27 in Little Rock. The conference will feature events, speakers and parties in multiple locations including the Ron Robinson Theater, Clinton Presidential Center and Dust Bowl Lounge. 

Here’s who will be speaking at this year’s conference:

  • Deva Pardue, creative director of uber cool women-only co-working space The Wing
  • Charles & Thorn, proprietors at branding company Charles & Thorn
  • Natasha Jen, partner at Pentagram, the world’s largest independently owned design studio
  • Cap Watkins, VP of design at Buzzfeed
  • Saul Colt, principle at the marketing and ad firm the Idea Integration Co.
  • Kelli Anderson, independent designer
  • Valerie Casey, head of design at Walmart
  • James L. Lewis, creative director at international typography collective The Ligature Collective
  • Jason Mayden, CEO and co-founder of Super Heroic, a sneaker company for kids
  • Mariam Braimah, product designer at Netflix
  • Marguerite Zabar Mariscal, creative director and chief of staff at Momofuku

A few of the can’t-miss events throughout the conference include the Designed by Few after-party and the Handmade by Few craft show. Designed by Few features a live design competition for a local nonprofit at the Clinton Presidential Center.

Handmade by Few, a curated craft show in collaboration with The Little Craft Show, will be held at CALS Ron Robinson Theater on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and feature regional artisans from Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Missouri and Texas including Dower, Kyya Chocolate, Turtle House Press and more. Admission to the market will be free and open to the public.
