Listen up, cool cats. Jazz in the Park is officially back for the 2024 spring season starting this week.
Now in its 11th year, Jazz in the Park is a free concert series held every Wednesday in April in the River Market Pavilions. The family-friendly event takes over the downtown scene twice a year (once in spring, then again in fall) and remains a local favorite.
Some seating will be provided, but concertgoers are welcome to break out the picnic blankets and lawn chairs for the space, as well as bring their own food. You can also purchase water, soft drinks, beer and wine with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Art Porter Music Education scholarship fund. Just be sure to leave the coolers at home.
Without further ado, here’s the Jazz in the Park spring 2024 lineup:
- April 3 – The Rod P Outfit
- April 10 – The Funkanites
- April 17 – Keith Savage
- April 24 – Amina Figarova & the World Orphan Choir
Shows start at 6 p.m. In case of rain, performances will move indoors to Ottenheimer Hall.
