LRCVB Launches Black History Month Video Series

The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau is celebrating Black History Month with the launch of “Experience Little Rock in Color,” an interactive video series that features local Black community influencers as they discuss their experience in the capital city.

In honor of Black History Month and this new month-long event, local artists joined the LRCVB on stage at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center for the series premiere on Feb. 7. Business and community leaders alongside tourism industry partners gathered together to celebrate and amplify Black culture.

The video series is hosted by local radio personality Mia Banks and includes more than 30 Black residents, community influencers and business leaders as they discuss the various restaurants, attractions and experiences that make them “Big on Little Rock.”

“We are thrilled to celebrate Black History Month with the launch of our new video series,” LRCVB president and CEO Gina Gemberling says. “Little Rock is a dynamic and diverse community that pairs different cultures with world-class attractions, restaurants and experiences. We are proud to spotlight our city’s rich Black history and culture and look forward to expanding our video series to connect with more diverse communities that make our city a unique, must-see destination for visitors and locals alike.”

“Experience Little Rock in Color” will be published on LRCVB’s Facebook, YouTube and Instagram pages throughout the month. For more information, visit the LRCVB website.
