The World Central Kitchen joined forces with a slew of local food trucks to help distribute thousands of packaged meals to hungry kids across the city over the past two weeks. According to the Clinton Presidential Center — where the trucks meet every day before dispersing to schools, libraries and community centers — World Central Kitchen has already distributed more than 53,000 meals in Pulaski County alone.

In more from the medical world, on Thursday night, first responders lined up outside Baptist Health Medical Center to honk their horns, flash their lights and show their appreciation for the doctors and nurses on the front lines of the COVID-19 battle.
People across the world have stepped up to help sew masks for health care workers facing shortages, so much so that SoMa’s Argenta Bead Company sold out of its elastic stock two hours after posting about it. We loved seeing Argenta Community Theater costume designer Shelly Hall put her talents to work with productions currently on hold.
And now for something completely different. The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra has been posting “Bedtime with Bach” performances on social media every night for the past few weeks, but it’s not always as seamless as it seems. The ASO posted a collection of outtakes and bloopers that made us smile, particularly the needy pets.
