International Greek Food Festival Marks 40th Year This October

Bring on the gyros! Little Rock’s beloved International Greek Food Festival returns this fall to mark 40 years of deliciousness.

Set for Oct. 2-3 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, the fest will once again bring all the flavors and community spirit that has made it one of the area’s favorite events. Attendees can expect an expansive spread of Greek eats, plus live entertainment, vendors and an expanded kids’ zone.

This year, organizers are hoping to streamline the ordering process by opting for physical tickets to exchange for food. These tickets can be purchased at the festival or in advance.

2025 marked the festival’s much-anticipated return after pivoting to a drive-thru format for 2020-2022, then canceling the following two years.

“For so many families in central Arkansas, the Greek Food Festival is more than just an event, it’s a tradition,” festival chair Jason Alley says. “We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back to enjoy everything that makes this festival so special.”

Part of what makes it special is its tradition of giving back to the community. This year’s fest will donate proceeds to Youth Home and Ronald McDonald House Arkansas & North Louisiana, as well as the Annunciation Scholarship Foundation and Annunciation Ministries.

Festival hours are 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. both days and admission is free. Trolley service will again run to the Asbury United Methodist Church and Mountaire parking lots.
