The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival announced its opening film and celebrity guest for this year’s event.
Opening weekend will kickoff with the critically-acclaimed documentary, “The Primary Instinct,” featuring actor Stephen Tobolowsky on Oct. 9. Tobolowsky is known for his roles in “Groundhog Day” and “Memento” and has appeared in television series such as “The Mindy Project” and “Glee.” In this film, directed by David Chen, Tobolowsky plays himself and “uses the art of storytelling to take the audience through a journey of life, love, and Hollywood,” according to a news release.
Saturday, Oct. 10, former St. Louis Cardinal Lou Brock will appear at the world premiere of Larry Foley’s “The First Boys of Spring,” while triple-crown champion jumper, Harry DeLeyer, will host the screening of “Harry & Snowman.”
