The March 31 storms that tore through Little Rock and North Little Rock caused seemingly bottomless amounts of fiscal, physical and personal damage. And in response, our communities are ready to go to work for our neighbors.
This weekend, countless charities, churches and complete strangers collected and distributed immediately-needed items while others broke out their chainsaws to start the cleanup process.
This is only the beginning of a long road to recovery, and many needs will arise along the way. If you want to help, here are just a few of the organized efforts you can join around the metro.
• Sign up to volunteer with recovery and cleanup here.
• Donate water and nonperishable items at 7000 Murray Ave. (open 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily)
• Make monetary donations to:
