Here Are the 2015 Diamond Chef Arkansas Competitors

Are you ready to feel the heat? Let’s hope so, because the Diamond Chef Arkansas Preliminary Competition is coming our way March 31. 

From 2-8 p.m, local chefs will battle to create special entrees in just 40 minutes, incorporating a whole basket of mystery ingredients, but it doesn’t end there for the winner. The top chef will advance to the June 2 finale to challenge the reigning winner, Chef Marc Guizol, executive sous chef at The Capital Hotel.

As the Pulaski Technical College Foundation’s largest fundraiser, all of Diamond Chef’s proceeds will benefit the college. 

The preliminary competition will take place at the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute at the college’s Little Rock-South sampus, and is free and open to the public, with hors d’oeuvres and beverages

  • Payne Harding – Cache Restaurant
  • Elliot Jones – YaYa’s European Bistro
  • Jason Knapp – Green Leaf Grill
  • Angela Nardi – Superior Bathhouse Brewery and Distillery
  • Justin Patterson – The Southern Gourmasian

Oh yeah. This is going to be good.
