Career goal: I plan to become a pediatric cardiologist. Having been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy at a young age, I feel I will be a very empathetic physician.
Tell us about the teacher, coach or administrator who made a difference in your life: Mrs. Bajorek, my fifth-grade teacher, was very instrumental in getting me through some very difficult times, including being there during the beginning of my health journey. She was always there to listen to me, and was the one who made sure I had all of the tools necessary (including initiating my 504 Plan) to succeed throughout my academic career.
