Grand Opening of Petit & Keet Bar and Grill Set for May

Petit & Keet Bar and Grill, a new polished-casual restaurant and bar located in the former 1620 Savoy building at 1620 Market St. in Little Rock, will open its doors to the public on May 18.

Co-owner Jim Keet has been in the Arkansas restaurant business since 1975. He currently owns and operates Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafés and Paninis and Company in Arkansas with his sons, Tommy and Jake, who are also partners in Petit & Keet.

Louis Petit, fellow co-owner of Petit & Keet, is a recent inductee to the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame. Petit was the original owner of Jacques & Suzanne, an iconic fine-dining establishment in Little Rock.

The new restaurant will offer a variety of menu items, utilizing as many local products and ingredients as possible. Petit & Keet will also feature a full bar with specialty drinks, cocktails and a first-class bartending staff. Thanks to the restaurant’s redesign, guests will be able to enjoy an outdoor patio, a new sidewalk café and an updated dining room. Petit & Keet will also have three private event rooms that can accommodate parties of 10-70.

The interior of Petit & Keet was designed in collaboration with Little Rock native Garry Mertins and the construction was performed by KO Construction Management.

Petit & Keet will be open 4-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 4-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
