Giving Guide: Vera Lloyd

MISSION

The mission of Vera Lloyd is to heal, prepare, and empower children, youth, and families in state care. Vera Lloyd offers therapeutic residential care programs for children in the foster care and juvenile justice systems, as well as emergency shelter and supervised independent living programs. Comprehensive medical and mental health services, combined with a trauma-informed model of care, heal youth and give them hope for brighter, more stable futures. Vera Lloyd’s parent educators provide trauma-informed training and coaching to foster and adoptive parents, as well as court-ordered classes for families in need of support.
