Giving Guide: Goodwill of Arkansas Foundation Inc.

MISSION

Changing lives through education, training and employment is the mission of Goodwill Industries of Arkansas (GIA). Established in Little Rock in 1927 as a nonprofit, GIA serves the entire state of Arkansas. All funds raised stay in Arkansas to transform lives through educational programs like The Excel Center, the only high school for adults in the state, and The Academy, a licensed trade school offering skills, training and certifications for the top industries in Arkansas. GIA also offers opportunities to justice-involved individuals through its re-entry program and its career services help individuals with job readiness training and assistance.
