I went from teaching to law, focusing on education so that teachers could make the classroom a better place for students. My family law practice developed over time and has come to be the primary law I practice. I enjoy helping families through difficult times. This includes referring clients and their children for any counseling they need, referring clients for help with financial issues and helping them progress through a divorce or child custody challenge as efficiently and calmly as possible.
Our firm is multipurpose. We handle family law, health law, personal injury cases, education law, and wills and estates.
Average Case
The divorce cases involving retirement funds, houses, investment accounts, and other property cost at least $5,000 and usually more. An average case like this lasts between 3 months and 1 year. Add child custody to that and the case goes to $10,000 and higher.

My Advice
“The worst thing that can happen to your child is to live in a constant state of conflict. Parent wars create this conflict environment. Your child is a person, not a doll or thing to be pulled back and forth. He needs a stable, nurturing family life to become a healthy adult.”
