Celebrate the spooky season with a Halloween-themed Cupcakes for Goodness Sake event on Saturday, Oct. 12. The event, hosted by CareLink, will challenge amateur and professional bakers to whip up delicious cupcakes that fit the theme.
Attendees can stroll through Argenta while shopping local vendors and tasting food and sweets to help raise funds for CareLink. The evening will include a cupcake competition, craft beer, unique sweets, local artisans, handmade goods, food trucks and live music.
“As a local nonprofit headquartered in central Arkansas for 40 years, we’re always excited about opportunities to interact with the community we serve,” vice president of development Randi Metcalf said. “Cupcakes for Goodness Sake allows us to spend an evening of philanthropic fun with those we’ve been happy to help, as well as share our passion for the older community with those who might not know about us.”
All proceeds go to CareLink, a nonprofit that serves as the area agency on aging for central Arkansas and provides resources for older people and their families. Last year, CareLink raised $45,000 and hopes to exceed that amount with the 2019 event.

The fun begins at the 400 block of Main Street in North Little Rock at 4 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. Click here to purchase tickets.
