CALS Literary Festival Announces Lineup

Readers, at the ready. The premier gathering of readers and writers in the state just released its lineup of authors and presenters, and it’s good.

The 13th annual Arkansas Literary Festival hosted by the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) kicks off on Tuesday, April 12, and runs through Sunday, April 17. The weekend will feature dozens of presenters ranging from Pulitzer Prize-winning poets and comedians to screenwriters, journalists and artists. Included among them are Lauren Weedman, Elias Weiss Friedman, Gregory Pardlo, Gregg Hurwitz, Adam Hochschild and Sloane Crosley.

If you’re interested in meeting some of your favorite writers face-to-face, make plans to attend the Author! Author! party on Friday night. Join in for hors d’oeuvres, libations, books and a night toasting the festival’s finest.

You can check out the full lineup here, and believe us, it is very full.  For more information, call (501) 918-3098 or follow the fest on Facebook and Twitter.
