There’s been a giant, Asian cuisine-shaped hole in the hearts of downtowners ever since we first heard the Chenal restaurant was opening a second location on Main Street. That was back in 2018, but the time has finally come: A.W. Lin’s will officially open for business Monday, Feb. 10.
Located at 309 Main St., the new space is set next to Allsopp & Chapple and across the street from Soul Fish Cafe. It also joins Bruno’s Little Italy, Samantha’s Tap Room and Brewski’s Pub & Grub in rounding out the restaurant haven in the 300 block of Main Street.
A.W. Lin’s first opened at The Promenade at Chenal more than seven years ago and has since grown a loyal customer base, one that has been anxiously awaiting the opening of the downtown location. The move into the century-old Rose Building proved more difficult than expected, however, wreaking havoc on the original spring 2018 opening date.
Operating hours at the Main Street location will be 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
